"This place is amazing!!! I literally have not been able to walk, sit, or stand without pain for 8 yrs due to a pretty serious back injury. I was told by my neurosurgeon that there was no way around back surgery ASAP and that if not it could become a medical emergency. He said that the surgery would not really take away the pain in my back but it would only stop the pain down my legs. He said I would no longer have movement in that specific area of my back and that over time the discs above and below my injury would start to become compromised due to increased stress put on them after the surgery. When I asked him what the success rate was with back surgery he said it's roughly 50/50. Lastly he told me that if I lose bodily functions I would need surgery right away, that was a medical emergency. I was petrified! I had already done PT about 4 times and 3 times in the pool, each being 12 week sessions. I did chiropractic for years and it helped for a while but if I moved wrong or did too much it would take 2-3 weeks to recover. I even bought an inversion table which did help take the stress off temporarily. Last year my husband came across an ad for decompression therapy at Disc Centers of America, RI. and showed it to me. I was cautiously hopeful because to me it made so much sense. I thought if this machine can help put my discs back to where they should be I should be able to avoid surgery. When I first met Dr. Morissette I literally cried telling her how much pain I was in 24 hours a day and how it was affecting my life. I told her how I needed to do this therapy. It made so much sense to me. So..

I did spinal decompression for 26 visits. The first thing I noticed was that I could actually lift my leg up off the decompression table. Eventually I had less pain and then I started having periods of no pain! I began to walk more comfortably more often. So many things that were so very difficult due to pain slowly became easier, so much easier. Today I can walk so much better without pain radiating down my legs , sit more comfortably for longer periods, and stand for a good amount of time before needing to sit or move around. I can accomplish more in a day than I have been able to in 8-9 years! I'm not like I was before my injury but I am able to do everything that I would be able to do if I had surgery and it was 100% successful and then some. Not to mention, I did not have to go through a long recovery and had better results. The staff here are very professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, and kind. They make sure that you are getting the most from your therapies. I am very thankful for the entire experience and the outcome. I would highly recommend The Chiropractic Neurology Center to whoever has a need. Thank you so much for giving me my life back!"

"Hi to whom it may concern this is my testimony;
In November 2023 I got hurt badly. I would not wish the pain I was in on anyone. When I first came in to see Dr. Morissette. I was wheelchair-bound. She had an X-ray taken, and with further study on the X-ray, I had 2 options presented to me. One was to get operated on. I know so many people that lived miserable lives because of back operations. I asked about my second option, Dr Morissette continued to tell me about decompression Treatments. I decided to go that route, the only bad thing was the treatment was not covered by insurance. For what I know now, of my outcome. ( Shame on our country and our Statehouse for not passing Chiropractic care as covered by insurance).

In my first 4 visits I was brought in with a wheelchair, I was in so much pain then. I then graduated to a cane. The main therapist that worked on me was Debbie. She was great. And me coming in with all that pain I was one miserable person, My attitude was not the best. But Debbie continued to fill me with Positive Affirmations and other people's outcomes, Which gave me hope.
After pulling me apart (so to say). Under Doctor Morissette's supervision. I was given to other care specialists mainly Elizabeth which healed my disks with 3 other treatments. I had to say Doctor Morissette's whole staff from her great receptionists to write down-the-line of her Professionals. I just completed my last treatment today. My outcome is nothing short of a miracle. Thank you God for Chiropractic care of Doctor Sherry Morissette and her whole staff. I now have continued back to a better way of life. My opinion is, if you are looking for a great chiropractor and disc center it is Dr. Sherry Morrissette."

"I have tried many different approaches to deal with my lower back pain, caused by a "severe" thoracic spondylosis condition. Trying various solutions , I have received no relief from acupuncture, medications (not a fan) or various stretching routines. I found some relief from chiropractic adjustments, which led to me scheduling the IDD therapy spinal decompression process. This has been noticeably successful. After having finished 18 of my 30 scheduled visits, my recent month-long overseas vacation was noticeably more enjoyable, with much more mobility, and less pain.

March 12 2024 update : I just finished my 30 IDD sessions, where I have seen major mobility improvement. Comparing pre and post x-rays actually show the results; separations of my lower discs where there were none. Switching to a once a week IDD session for maintenance, for the next six months. "Years ago I injured my wrists (especially the left) carrying groceries in plastic bags, and continued to do heavy duty maintenance till I could no longer use my left hand. I had extreme pain in the wrists, and could no longer open or unlock my car door or even use my hand to drive the car. When I went to the emergency room, they offered to give me a cortisone shot and provided me with a brace used for carpal tunnel. I left the Emergency room in extreme pain. I opted not to have the shot. Without the brace on, my pain was excruciating. If I turned my left hand to manipulate a tool, I couldn't really work with the brace on. My friend Angela recommended me to this place, and on my very first visit the doctor corrected the problem. The carpal Bones were out of alignment, and with one adjustment I was able to open my car door, clasp my hand on the steering wheel without any pain or discomfort and move and turn my hand without pain. I never used the brace again."

"I began my journey at the Chiropractic Neurology Center of West Greenwich back in June of 2022. A friend of mine had told me how wonderful the practice was and how much they had helped him. lwas unable to sit or stand comfortably for more than a couple of minutes and needed to get some relief.

At my consultation, Dr. Doering gathered some medical information and listened to my concerns. She was informative, patient and professional. I was so impressed with the time Dr. Doering spent with me to understand my situation. A couple of treatment options were given to me along with an explanation of each. I began treatment with just chiropractic adjustments. While I did get some relief after a few adjustments, it wasn't getting to the root of the problem. After several conversations with Dr. Doering and my own research, I decided to pursue the treatment option of spinal decompression. This was the best decision I could have ever made.

Spinal decompression therapy changed my life. Within just a couple of visits my pain was minimal if not gone. My life was getting back to normal, and I was able to enjoy things once again. As progress was being made, Dr. Ðoering and myself also made adjustments to my work environment to ensure I continued to heal.
